Here is a comprehensive review of months of games/video of Brock Osweiler. I believe it is on par with the gushing manifesto of Tannehill's production with Adam Gase. Is it possible that two middling QB's can compete in training camp and pull Miami from their own abyss? Can a wildcard QB get Miami to the Wildcard round of the playoffs? Which QB has more to lose, and how many fans will Miami lose in the process?

Ah, a question with no preconceived opinion.

Osweiler is not a middling QB, he has a lot of work to get to the middling level. We are screwed if the backup has to play anyway so might has well pay him on the cheap.

He is basically an NFL bust. Sat behind the great Peyton Manning, ideal for a QB coming into the league on a QB friendly team. When the time came, he was mediocre, had a great game that got him a contract and never looked like a starter again. Resigned as a minimum contract backup back in Denver, and couldn’t even keep that job. Wasted signing by Miami. Great example of a guy being tutored by a great starter and meaning nothing. You don’t get better watching good players out play you. You either beat them out for the job or you aren’t good enough to do that.

Unfortunately Tannehill hasn't had a great QB to sit behind.

So then what the hell happened in Houston?

I don't remember him in that. Did his part as the future love child of Ed Harris & Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio get cut out of the movie?

Good flick.

It is a compelling video review of a player that is on deck at QB for the Dolphins. Some people on here would salivate at the chance to watch an in depth video of Sitton or Kilgore, here is one of a QB. It is also interesting that it was done before Brock's derailment in Houston, the hopes and dreams of a fanbase and franchise is quite a burden to bear.

We got a backup QB with NFL experience and didn't overpay or give up draft picks.

Tannehill has not had a team like the one Os had in Denver....Tannehill is a lot better qb than Os by a very large margin. Tannehill has won and went 11-4 in his last 2 seasons when his line was healthy, but still below average. Os struggled horribly when he left a great team in Denver. There is no comparison.

It is my fondest wish that Osweiler gets 48 plays in the regular season this year. 48 carries for -72 yards...

Unless Tannehill's knee has ruined him, there is no competition in QB camp. If thats the case, we're screwed. I watched Osweiler play in Denver during his "glory years" and saw a few Houston games. Bad, bad, bad...unless you feel that Ws are the metric for a QB to watch...then wow, he did great.

Ryan always has an interesting qualifier added to his proposed successes and failures.
