I was reading the Denver Post here in Colorado and they said that the Broncos Center Tom Nalen is a Free Agent. He has had a good career and their lineman can flat out block (look at all the 1,000 yard rushers they have had). We might want to give this guy a 1 or 2 year deal,,,,,the only knock on Nalen is he is 34 years old, but I think he would be a better Center than what we have.

Word is Kubiak is going to try to carry him to Huston

I would rather let Hadnot get confortable with the position.. he seems like a really good option.... one of the only good things that Wanny and Speilman did for us..

The other knock on him besides age is that he's a specialized kind of player. He fits the Broncos O-line scheme and pretty much nothing else. He's basically a blocking TE sized player at 6'3" 286 pounds.

I doubt Miami is going to want a Center 40 pounds lighter then either of the two currently on the roster.

I don't see him going anywhere, but if he does, I'd say Houston would be the best bet.

 Nalen wants to sign a three year deal & remain in Denver but if not he's heading to Houston.

Hadnot and Smith are more than a adequate pair to battle it out at C...we seem to need RG help more than any other line position (presuming Alabi is ready for LT)

I'm okay with McIntosh returning as our starting LT & Alabi moving into McDougle's role as rotating OT in order to gain experience. We definitely need to find us a mauling RG.
