Broncos OL John Moffitt "Walks Away" vs Martin

I really feel this Martin's parents doing more so than Martin's... His handlers drove the train when he was recovering, and now he can't put the 8000 lb cat back in the bag...

This whole martin thing is an up and down seasaw roller coaster tycoon. From one day to the next I don't know who is right and who is wrong. Its an upside down topsy turvy feeling as a dolphins fan really. It's like being in the spinning teacups and disney.

Incognito went too far. Martin called him on it. It's as simple as that.

Eh, not if it is true that Martin let the locker room listen to the VM's while laughing. That is a hit to Martins character as it relates to this case.

It's easy to take the opinion, with all that has come out, that mentally speaking Martin isn't the toughest tool in the shed. His parents, both being Lawyers saw blood in the water like the sharks they are, and are taking their son for a ride. Hence the timely leaks, and the things supposedly yet to come.

Their son couldn't handle the NFL life, ran away and handled it poorly. Now the only way they can fix it is blame Richie and Management for everything.

Hence, Ricky William's "scapegoat" comment. He's as spot on as it gets.

Called him on it 6 months later??? That's not all that simple.

Stuff builds up. It may not have been a big deal at the time, but things kept piling on. I really don't understand why people are clinging to everything they can to defend Incognito while just wanting to crucify Martin. The truth is, none of us really know. People want to side with Richie though because he is the better player. I like Incognito, I've liked him since college and I hope he plays for Miami again, but I think he messed up. I think he went too far.

From how this story reads, they have nothing in common.

I quite agree. Martin hasnt said he is quiting football, he hasnt said anythin about concern for injury.
This issue is a mess and we have no clue how this ends up.
We do know we lost two underperforming OL starters that were deemed better than the guys that will be taking thier places this week.

Of course he went too far. And you are right that the public doesn't have enough information to pass full judgement. Because of that you can't let it all fall on Incognito at this point, and moreover the people closest to the situation all seem to feel Cogs simply wasn't that deviant. People who will know a lot more about what went on than you or I. It appears to me that everybody made mistakes along the way. To lay all the blame on Cogs feet would be as irresponsible as exonerating him completely.

I'm not laying all the blame on him, just find it confusing that people want to demonize Martin. Incognito definitely did something wrong. Exactly how wrong we don't know, but we do know he said some stuff that was over the line.

They are not letting anyone actually LISTEN to the voicemail.

The transcript for that voicemail very clearly states he is laughing on it
