I think it will be a very low scoring affair. It will come down to which QB has the least amount of turnovers. Both Gus and Plummer will throw at least 2 INTs imo. But I like our chances because our Defense can really rattle Plummer.

The Dolphins' defense is very versatile and we feel will pose matchup problems for opposing offenses. Keep in mind that new Dolphins head coach Nick Saban was very creative at LSU. For instance, we saw a zone blitz pressure scheme with man coverage played behind it in the preseason, something we had not seen in the NFL. As a result, we anticipated a lot of different fronts and coverages with Miami, especially given the fact that Saban has a veteran group of defenders at his disposal. We were not disappointed. The moving chess piece in Saban's defensive puzzle is Jason Taylor. In the preseason, Taylor lined up at both defensive end positions in a 4-3 front and at both outside linebacker spots in a 3-4-front. At times, we saw Taylor play man-to-man coverage on a tight end from a down defensive line position and at other times we saw him play man-to-man coverage on a running back from an outside linebacker position. In this matchup against Denver, Saban will force the Broncos to find Taylor and account for him since he remains an impact pass rusher who can disrupt an offense and create long-yardage situations. Situations Plummer really struggles in.

I agree that it will probably be a defensive struggle. I would be much more worried if we were facing Tatum Bell than Mike Anderson, although Anderson can cause problems for us if we go back to our sloppy-tackling ways. I doubt either Plummer or Gus will have a good game.

This freaking game is only going to be close for the 1st qter. Down the streach, Denver will pull away with a decisive victory.

Maybe for us, i dont see our offense scoring much more than 13-14 points on the Bronco D, and i think with the numerous turnovers we will commit, our defense will break and give up about 24-27. Thus we will lose, otherwise i suppose looking at it, it will be a very defensive battle. Certainly Denver wont be having any 76 yard TD Drives....

Because... The broncos are more conditiond to play in 100 degree weather, they can shut down JT, and ronnie will not be a factor, and either will Chambers, Booker, and that other guy Boston.

GET REAL BRONCO FANS!

The Broncos wont be the ones sucking air in the 3Qrt. They practice in a higher altitude. So when they come down to lower levels of altitude there lungs process air more affectivly

they can shut down JT

There O-line will handle him just fine

Brown will be lucky to clip 70 yards rushing

Chambers will be shut down all day by Champ

Booker isnt worth them worrying about

Boston will be lucky to get through the end of the game injury free

Plus it doesnt matter anyway the Gus will spend most of his day on his back w/ your o-line

I think Miami's offense will struggle to score but notsomuch because of a "good" Denver's defense rather a rusty/rough around the edges miami offense.

While I agree with some of your statements, don't devalue our Wr corps. Champ may hold down Chambers, but Booker and Boston can do some major damage if the QB gets the ball to them (which is doubtful, but still).

because..

Because...the only thing Miami has going for them is the fact that The Broncos have suked in FL--even in the Elway Era. However Denver got over that hump by winning in Tampa early last year.

Furthermore...

This team is far better than the national guyz think. Plummer is in his third season in Denver's system and has gone the entire preseason with out turning the ball over, Anderson is running wild with Tatum Bell putting pressure on him from the #2 spot, the entire OLine is in tack, & Rod Smith and Ashlie Lelie are coming off of 1K yard seasons. The Defense is hands down one of the top 3 in the NFL. With Pryce returning and 6'4" Lenny Walls--who was also out the entire season-- back on the other side of Champ, a ton of new DB depth, and the best LB tandem in the NFL. Say all you want about the "Browncos" but the truth is Gerard Warren is playing for his football life and is looking good, and Courtney Brown if healthy WILL be a force on the other side of Pryce. Ekuban has been solid his whole career and Eagleburger (speed rusher from San Fran) is going to surprise allot of people this year playing on the same line of Trevor Pryce who takes the double team to stop.

So there you have it, the league's #4 Defense and #5 Offense with upgrades in needed places and healthing going in to week 1.

"Because" The Broncos are leagues better than Miami, and you know this man. Otherwise youse, and your media wouldn't even be talking about the "weather" as if it is your Quarterback this weekend!
