Broncos place 2nd round tender on LB Brandon Marshall; Dolphins possibly interested

Seems like Wingo is just speculating. This reeks of the Mycal Kendricks rumor of last year.

He'll be 27 by the start of the season. Idk about a second but id throw them an offer of a third in a heartbeat

First, it is more than just saying "Here is our 2nd round pick" . . . It is also fixing up a nice enough contract so where Denver does not match it.

Which leads me into why this is a bad deal . . . We lose the ability to have the #42 overall pick under contract for 4 cheap years and on top of that we are paying for Marshall like a normal free agent.

Good player, sure, but Miami needs to start finding their own good, young, cheap players in the draft.

awful idea...even without the 2nd round pick compensation which makes it moronic even

trey wingo connected?

Not likely. We are going to be mentioned as a possible landing spot for virtually every free agent. 99% of them are just agents trying to leverage for more cash

Player skill and scheme fit. Let's try and apply this logic as free agency opens. FA acquisitions aren't just Madden-like plug and play.

Fun Fact: Madden isn't even plug and play anymore - you sign players to your scheme's fit otherwise they'll have a lower rating than what's posted. :d-day:

He's actually right.

Scheme fit is huge in that game.

Agreed, but here is the plan for the players the Dolphins have drafted and cultivate:

1) Draft them
2) Ignore them until they are unrestricted free agents
3) Panic, assign transition tags to them
4)
