Updating previous reports, ESPNews reports Denver Broncos P Todd Sauerbrun has been suspended for four games by the NFL. Sauerbrun tested positive for the performance-enhancing drug ephedra, a violation of the league's drug policy.

Me too. Ever since they played us dirty on that Sunday/Monday night football game 3 years ago causing alot of injuries in our team, I began to hate them.

I was rooting for the Patriots to own them last postseason, but it didn't happen.

Todd Sauerbrun ripped off his helmet and hurled it in disgust after shanking a 25-yarder at the Denver Broncos' minicamp Friday. The paltry punt was the least of his troubles.


Sauerbrun will be suspended for the first month of the season after testing positive for the banned supplement ephedra, a person close to the player said Friday.

Sauerbrun will miss the first four regular-season games if his expected appeal is denied, said the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press because the NFL has not announced the suspension.
The 12-year veteran ducked into the Broncos' headquarters and avoided reporters by apparently taking a side door to the players' parking lot after lunch.
Coach Mike Shanahan said he wanted to wait for the appeals process to play out before addressing Sauerbrun's suspension. But he did say his players are well-versed in supplements: ``Yeah, we talk about all those things quite extensively.''

well thats what they get for ratting out ricky and making his violation public. Remember that denver radio station. Ricky might have been able to play. anyways i hope punting costs them a few games. If your a punter why? i hope it was recreational and not juice. :evil:

ephedra is not juice, it is a dietary supplament, nothing to enhance muscles at all....

Although this guy did get named in the steriod scandal with the panthers.
