Brown practices: Running back Ronnie Brown practiced for the first time since breaking his left hand against the Detroit Lions on Nov. 23.
"Physically, it felt pretty good," said Brown, who is listed as questionable. "I'm doing everything, participating in all the drills so it's like a normal practice for me."
Brown is wearing a pad on the top of the hand and underneath his glove. It did not restrict Brown's ability to catch the ball. Brown said he expects Sammy Morris to start against the Jets.

this was reported in the palmbeach post anyone knows what this means

I'm guessing RB isn't too anxious to get back on the field. Not a very hungry player IMO. That in a nutshell says a lot because I believe it reflects the attitude of several skill players on the offense, hence their underachievement this season.

:rolleyes2 @ jlfin

OR maybe, just MAYBE, he realizes that his hand is NOT 100%, and that he doesn't want to HURT the TEAM by turning over the ball when he gets his 20+ touches.

Until another newspaper says something about what he said then I will still say he is starting because that is what NFL Total Access said and the other 2 Miami newspapers.

Running Backs who try 110% to get the extra few yards after getting hit doesnt say to me they cant be arsed to get back on the field after getting a broken hand! Brown gives his all whether its running or recieving so whats with the low on Ronnie? Are you watching the games?

I absolutely cannot buy into the assertion that RB does not give out max effort. You can tell by the way he runs he is willing to take on tacklers head on and do what he can to get xtra yardage. With the type of injury he had he needs to be careful coming back. Hand injuries are no joke.

Ronnie gives 100%. He just plays slower than we all thought he would. Of course, he's not a hungry player! When you make 20 million just for showing up, how "hungry" would you be?. I'm sure Ronnie wants to do good, but he doesn't care if he starts or not.
