Looks like Ronnie will be back (thankfully). In my opinion, he should be resigned to a modest contract sometime in 2010 (probably a 2 year extension).

Regardless, with this, we'll be assured that Ricky will return as well.

I'd love to have ronnie back he's a beast, the only real problem I have is I don't agree with how they split the carries with him and ricky. IMO ronnie gets better the more carries he gets and to many times this year they yanked him too early. Just my humble opinion!

One thing I question though is if a new CBA is reached before the start of free agency, does that change Ronnie's mind? I mean, opting out right now makes no sense, because if there is no new CBA, he becomes a restricted free agent and would likely remain in Miami anyways.

Though if a new CBA is reached, he would become an unrestricted free agent.

Good to hear....I'd hate to see him traded.

TBH I dont think any team would send a 2nd round pick for him with the injuries he's had. Perhaps a late 2nd, but more likely a 3rd.

I'd re-sign Ronnie and have him retire in Miami. Have next year feature Brown and Williams again (with the 2011 draft I'd like to see the Phins take a RB in the first couple of rounds).
