Browns offense in 2011

im a believer in guys making moves to other teams that benefit them. a guy who was well hated in cleveland was bill belichick. i dont care for "he sucks" arguements. the overuse of the word sucks means nothing. its laziness.

sucking is one thing. being mediocre is another. being good is another. and being great is another. Not many people say much in between.

Belichek deserved to be fired In cleveland but unlike Daboll he was not hired at the same position right away he had to earn another shot at being a coach at that level. U would think a team that struggled offensively would try to hire a OC that had actually ran a successful offense but whats done is done, its possible that Daboll gets the job done. Personally mcdanials would have been my choice. we were the only team pursuing daboll for this position and we dont even know if he was our first choice not that Chudinski excited me either .

I had the pleasure of sitting with Handford Dixon at Paninis in Cleveland. He does pre and post game show for the local CBS affiliate in Cleveland. We watched the Browns beat Miami and his thoughts on Brian Daboll were he was the worst OC in Browns history, he was impossible to work with, and his arrogance and ego were out of control! But hey what does he know?

I heard his OC for the lingerie team was a little too hands on for the players liking lol. did u get his autograph he was a truly very good corner(im not big on autographs but he was a stud)
well i dont know all those details but watched enough of his offense in cleveland to realize ours was not the worst.

I can ***** about what I wanna ***** about so dont tell me who to be a fan of. Geesh im a bad fan because I think orton is a better qb than henne . So I guess u dont think any qb is better than Henne and if u do I guess u should become a fan of that team. I support the Miami Dolphins just like I support the country Im proud of but that doesnt mean Tony sparano is a good coach or that I though george Bush was a good president . So people that would wish for another President rather than Obama I guess are unamerican. Also u really dont know anything about my opinion. i was happy to get henne as the Ryan consolation prize, I thought he was a good draft pick and would be a good qb. I blame the qb coach , the head coach and the last OC for hurting his development but all in all he was not a good qb last year.

Also u act like this is the first time we had a top defense. We had a top defense under wanny for many years and in 2006 actually had a top 5 defense in pts and yardage and we all know how 2007 turned out. For your info we were 6th in yardage and 14th in pts defensively last year. So i will rant about what i like if u dont like it rant back or dont read. U seem quite satisfied with being mediocre so go for it.

Dude reading your posts are depressing. Seems like ou have nothing positive to say. Noone is saying you can't have your opinion, but does all of your opinions have to be d@mn near all negative, all the time?

Henne is the wild card, we all know this. But given the new offensive scheme, he may, just may, be able to be pretty good. If our defense is on par with last year, or even remotely better, guess what? "Pretty good" probably gets us in the playoffs this year.

The Negative Nancyism is getting old dude, lighten up for a change. Find something positive to talk about. It's exhausting to feel like this after reading your rants:

in reality I have not ranted about alot this off season. We did nothing to improve Qb quite true. We are mix and matching our oline once again. havent said anything bad about the defense . I just keep drawn into the same convo on orton and not many people wpould disagree that Orton is an upgrade over henne. In fact I have been one of Henne's biggest supporters but In realize he played bad last year and am not sure he is the qb for this team. Now we bascially have gotten worse at backup so if henne fails or gets hurt we are in deep doo doo. 7-9 is getting old sorry if ignoring the most important position for the last decade has me feeling neagtive or that hiring a guy that was ranked 30th two years in a row as a coordinator does not have me excited or being left with Tony Sparano as a consolation prize for not convinving Harbaugh to be our coach is not the thing of which my dreams are made of.

I hear you loud and clear, but he is our QB this season, nothing's gonna change that short of injury or having a "space jam" moment where aliens steal his mojo and he misses every throw for the rest of pre-season. With that said, why beat a dead horse? When he starts laying eggs out on the field during the regular season, I'll be marching along side you to tar and feather the sucker. Let's get some positive Dolphin energy flowing, there is a lot to be optimistic about this season without honing in on the 2 unsure things (QB play & OL).

To be turthful I just have no faith in our coach to get anything out of our talent. He seems too indecisive and only makes changes when the worst possible results are already on our won loss records.
I see this as a lame duck regime and hope that we are able to keep the talented players we do have. I personally hope Henne develops but not sure this regime has given hiim the coaching or weapons to succeed.
Havent spoke about sparano much becausse its obvious his leadership ability is lacking. I think a coach like Belicheck which there are few of would have gotten much better results out of this team because the gap bewtween us and the top tier of the division is not talent its coaching.

dlockz is like the fan from the movie Major League that was all over Charlie Sheen's *** the whole movie until the end in the playoffs when he acted like he was a fan the whole time lol.

in have been a fan of the dolphins longer than u have been alive. I have seen teams that actually could challenge for an NFL titile and I saw 1-15. Always have supported my team and hoped for the best. You never hear me flipping a script and saying I knew something all the time after the fact. If we won it all why wouldnt I be excited . Being a fan is different to all people but the key thing is pulling for your team not believing that they can do no wrong. Saints fans that went to the stadium with bags on surely loved thier team but they were expressing their feelings about the state of the franchise. Its a shame when a once proud franchise is having trouble remembering their last playoff win much less their last playoff two years ago. we have had 4 out of 5 losing seasons in the past 5 years so excuse me if I dont think we are the best franchise in football

Daboll maybe saw an opportunity to develop a NE style offense where he wasnt really allowed to go full bore in cleveland with a GM who is traditionally a west coast guy. Sparano and Ireland maybe wanted a guy who was young and spry to get this offense going in a different environment where a team is looking to improve on many things and he had the answers they liked.

People think that people land jobs everyday because they had a successful track record somewhere else when really, they have the answer that a company was looking for in a change of direction. Its not cut and dry and about big names. thats what this board constantly lives by. big names. we need braylon edwards.....no we dont, we already have one headache on the team.

not really. just checking out some guys and how they feel at LG or RT. EVerything else is locked down. We know carey is RG. We know Center is locked down with LT. This crap is simply being blown out of the water by haters. If we see Garner moving from G to T and back to G in the 4th preseason game, I will kiss your ***. ok?
