Browns shopping Joe Thomas and Alex Mack, Dolphins in play?

Both? Wow that would be very interesting ....
 
so we move pouncey to guard permanently and Joe Thomas takes over at LT?
 
Both would be interesting becuase Pouncey really didnt do to good at guard.
 
Brandon Albert played LG at some point. I can't remember when. He could also be shifted to RT.

We could do Thomas, Pouncey, Mack, Turner, Albert

Thats a hell of a line actually when you look at it.
 
Well both is financially impossible. They both have huge contracts. We know Pouncey can't play G. This would be some awkward maneuvering. Why didn't we just spend far less on Mathis to play a position he's familiar with and we need?
 
I'd take either one with a huge smile .

People keep repeatedly misinterpreting the whole Mathis thing. He chose the Broncos and less money over us.

If he wanted out of Philly because he wanted more money what makes your scenario believable? Saying you want to play for a winner is always a nice cover for making less money than you think you're worth. We're both just making assumptions about how things went down, but if we had made a stronger offer I believe he would have been a Dolphin.
 
We don't need both. Pouncey has to stay at center to be productive, and James will be back in a month. Take Thomas, plug him in at RT until James is back then figure out how to reshape the line from there.

So Thomas is going to replace Wake and Mack is going to start opposite of grimes at corner lol I dont get it we have probowlers at center and Lt. I guess you can shuffle them around the line but that's a lot of money to shuffle.

both that's actually funny where to people come up with some of this stuff, I will be surprised if either happen.
 
If we can get Joe Thomas, this team's o-line would get a serious boost. We could even put Juwan James as a sub for when Brandon Albert inevitably gets hurt.
 
I'm talking to a team that has a legit mLB before I worry about a LT or Center.
