Feel bad for him going from a winning team in a money city to a **** team in a dump of a city.
Scarlett if healthy is a good possibility. Just thinking out loud, if Fins want to add some beef to the line, Akeem Spence and Suh are still out there. Don't know what either have left or what the cost would be, but just runnin' it up the flagpole...Interesting. I know people on here liked him, but I never got the fascination with Stille. Not strong enough to play inside, not athletic enough to play outside. Scarlett is probably the frontrunner to replace Ogbah at this point. Shame Flowers hasn’t been able to stay healthy, he’d be the perfect plug in.
I think I was one of the first to tout Stille... and I never thought he was a potential starter, just a possibility as a rotational player.Interesting. This is a reasonable thing to be concerned about, but actually, the run defense has been very good even without Ogbah.I think I was one of the first to tout Stille... and I never thought he was a potential starter, just a possibility as a rotational player.
...and yes, I am a bit surprised that we didn't step up and add him to the roster since we are losing Ogbah. Stille could have been a run down 3-4 style DE, something for which Scarlett and Flowers lack the weight to do. (Both players are better as stand up SSLBs).
I think Ogbah's injury may hurt us more than some think. Not as a pass rusher, but as an edge-setter... we dont have any real depth here.
