Bruce Arians is a coach philbin is not

Did anybody see that deep ball from Stanton drop right in the bucket?

did anyone see that even after stanton when down they were STILL throwing the deep ball to keep testing the secondary?

our Team is gutless, our coach is gutless, but worst of all the dolphins are just ****ing boring as all hell to watch. Even that low scoring affair tonight had more excitement than a dolphins game.

It was pretty maddening listening to some of that commentary tonight:

Warner on Bradford: he's not proving to be great. He doesn't take enough shots down the field. You want a QB with the confidence to know that even if it turns out bad on that one play he'll get it back and then some on the next two.
The crew on Hill: he will take shots, I'll give him that. In that respect he's much better than Bradford.
Sims on Stanton's completion percentage: they take a lot of shots down field so naturally his percentage will be lower. And you need to be able to complete balls down the field to win in today's league.


And Lazor made a point to say we had deep balls called in the Ravens game but they just never materialized for whatever reason.

Part of the problem is that we only try to go deep off of play action from under center, and that's all we do on play action from under center. It works on the deep crossers, but teams have been taking away the deep vertical stuff. That's what I've seen, anyway.

I have faith that if Lazor is back as our OC next season, he will work out a lot of the kinks.

Yep. Remember that first game against Buffalo? 2:30 left in that half and Philbin shuts down Tannehill. I wanted to reach through the TV and wipe my ass with his index cards.
 
Coaches like Arian and Harbaugh get things done right away. Philbin treads water for three years and cites one game improvement per year as progress. Let's cut the cord already. A talented team wastes with each passing year.

It's an incredible coaching job. All the endless excuses that are made for philbin are a drop in the bucket compared to the excuses to fail Arians has. But only failure needs excuses and he's too busy winning for that ****.
