Gruden is collecting picks and attempting to build the next dynasty. He’s got 5 1st round picks in the next 2 drafts. Keep in mind the Raiders may have the top pick in both drafts. Plus they still have Carr who will command another 2 1st round picks once they trade him, which they will. This was his plan from the moment he took the job. He’s the only coach in the league that can really do this because he has a 10 year $100 million dollar deal. Nobody has that kind of job security. This is basically the football version of “the process.”
