Watchout now guys the Bucks are gonna have a squad this year..

Starters

PG - Ford (Williams)
SG - Redd (Welsh, Bell)
SF - Simmons (Kukoc)
PG - Bogut (Smith)
C - Magloire (Gadzuric)

In the East this team is probably a contender for 5th best team no question. We have a nice bench and players who can score. Magloire was an All-Star in 04 and we have alot of muscle down low. Should be fun to watch my Bucks this year... What do you guys think..

Its a big risk....you have no clue what you are going to get with Magloire. Really, do you know what you are getting out of any of those starters outside Redd? Ford and Magloire are coming back from major injuries, Simmons has had one productive season on a lousy team, and Bogut is a rookie. There is a lot of potential, but I would hold off on the celebration.

This is a make of break season for both Magloire and the Bucks. This combo has to work b/c they are stuck with it for the forseeable future. You arent trading those contracts given to Simmons, Gadzuric, or Redd. If the season doesnt go well, Magloire will sign elsewhere as a FA, and the Bucks wont have any cap room to sign anyone else. gl

I guess you mean PF - Bogut not pg...must be a mispell its cool and all. To me looks like a real tough team

I doubt they put Bogut at PF. He's definetly a pure center.

Agreed. The Bucks need Ford in there to distribute the ball.

It doesn't really matter. The 4 & 5 are always interchangeable. There's a PG, two (or three) perimeter players & two (or one) post player(s).

Bogut won't be sitting the bench either.. Magloire will play Center and Bogut will get some time at the PF spot. He is a great passer and can play the high post while, Magloire is on the blocks. Remember they also have Gadzuric, who is more of a Center than a PF. Stotts has already used Gadzuric at the 5 and Bogut the 4 during the preseason. Bogut is a pretty good athlete and should have no problems switching between the 4 and 5..

I think Ford will be ok in the long run.. He is still growing as a player, in the preseason he has been scoring more, but turning the ball over quite abit. Remember we still have Maurice Williams also who is 22 and quietly put up 10.2 pts and 6.0 assists last year. Scoring should not be a problem for the Bucks, Defense will be. Hopefully Magloire and Simmons will help us turn into atleast a decent defensive team..

Big win for the Bucks last night on the road considering they only had 7 road wins last year. Ford played like a stud just missing the triple double. Bogut like I said started at PF for the hurt Joe Smith, and played well, almost notching a double double. Magloire had a few boards but nothing special, it may take some time, since it was the 1st game togather.

Ford was a beast in the first game. I thought the Bucks would be alright but they have a chance to be a really good team this year and have a bright future. Give their Gm a lot of credit they have a lot of talent.

Is any center not a beast on my 76ers? Especially when Samuel Dalembert doesn't play. We dont defend, Iverson is still a ballhog (Andrei Iguodala = 7 shots in 2 games), Webber looks decent but i doubt he'll stay healthy through 82 games and continue to play this well. Korver shoots too many low percentage shots, and again we dont have a center dominant enough to contend with Detroit, Miami or Indiana hence us being a 8-7-6 seed in the playoffs and again being crushed in round 1.

I like your team......

I say the Heat probably beats your team in the second round 4-1...maybe 4-2....

You still need to play defense in this league though to go far in the playoffs....and I still think you lack people that can contain Wade, Hamilton, Shaq, J. O'neal, S. Jackson and Sheed. So the top three in the east is not in the NEAR future.....but I do like your team RIGHT now as the 5th best in the east....

Philly is a huge dissapointment....

It is Miami, Detroit, Indiana, Cleveland,....then the rest....and the Bucks are just as good as the rest.

I don't see why we can be as good as Cleveland either. Redd is gonna probably throw up 25 a game this year.
