I think Bargnani will be the top pick and i've read that Atlanta loves Shelden Williams at 5.

I've read that as well but thats considering that Aldridge, Bargnani, and Thomas are all gone by 5...thats what happened to charlotte last year they were interested in raymond felton at 5 but wanted chris paul and deron williams more...when they both went ahead of him they settled of felton and it was a great move

Celtics fan here.. I don't know too much about Brandon Roy, but I feel like we already have a bunch of guys on the roster (Gerald Green, Paul Pierce and Delonte West) who can play SG. What we're really lacking, in my opinion, is a legitimate PG.

If we can draft a PG and slide Delonte over to his more natural SG spot teamed with Pierce and Szczerbiak in the front court and Green/Gomes/Jefferson coming off the bench.. that's a pretty solid roster.

Heres my opinion on the celtics bro...If Im the GM i'd take marcus williams or randy foye and finally have the pg that can run the floor for them...but supposedly they've fallen in love with brandon roy and that could signal the end of paul pierce

Delonte West is not a good pg to start...but off the bench as a PG/SG he could be excellent.

I think Aldridge is the best player in the draft but he may fall if Thomas is taken 2nd overall. I don't think Charlotte would take him and if Morrison is available when the Blazers pick I think they take him. If the reports are true that the Hawks love Williams than Aldridge may fall to the T-Wolves or Celtics.

I'd hate to lose Pierce. He was so good last year, and he's had an excellent attitude towards the young guys. But I worry about the idea of his production dropping off when the young guys like Jefferson, West, Green and Gomes are ready to make a playoff run.

If we do end up drafting Roy (is he really good enough to be the 7th pick?) then where do you see Pierce going? And what do you think we'd get in return for him?

maybe you didnt get what I was saying...they like williams to the point that the bobcats liked felton...if barganani, thomas, or aldridge is on the board when they pick that will be there pick and williams may slip out of the top 10

I'm only going to do the lottery picks...here goes

NBA LOTTERY MOCK DRAFT

1. Toronto Raptors - LaMarcus Aldridge PF/C Texas
2. Chicago Bulls - Tyrus Thomas SF/PF LSU
3. Charlotte Bobcats - Rudy Gay SF UCONN
4. Portland Trailblazers - Adam Morrison SF Gonzaga
5. Atlanta Hawks - Andrea Bargnani PF Italy
6. Minnesota Timberwolves - Randy Foye PG Villanova
7. Boston Celtics - Brandon Roy SG Washington
8. Houston Rockets - Marcus Williams PG UCONN
9. Golden State Warriors - Rodney Carney SF Memphis
10. Seattle Supersonics - Shelden Williams PF Duke
11. Orlando Magic - JJ Redick SG Duke
12. New Orleans Hornets - Ronnie Brewer SG Arkansas
13. Philadelphia 76ers - Jordan Farmar PG UCLA
14. Utah Jazz - Cedric Simmons PF NC State

[word out of philly is there ready to take a pass first pg with there pick which could signal the end of the AI era]

As a Sixer's fan I could live with this as long as the Sixers get some nice compensation for AI. Hopefully AI can go to a contender....like Miami where he can win a title.

This is what i'd like to see happen as a bobcats fan...Bobcats trade celtics the 3rd overall pick and brevin knight to boston for paul pierce...this trade also makes sense for both teams

Gives charlotte the scoring threat they lack and gives boston two top 7 picks, and a solid pg

with those picks boston could probobly take a big PF like Aldridge or Bargnani and Brandon Roy

warriors need a big man bro. Between Davis and Richardson they got their back court taken care of

With Rodney Carney this team would basically be the new nets...plus they lack a wingman

with Baron Davis taking over jason kidds role
with Jason Richardson taking over vince carters role
with Rodney Carney taking over richard jeffersons role

Well Mike Dunleavey might have his breakout year :rolleyes2

But really dude, look at their C situation. They need a good SF like you said but man Foyle really just doesn't cut it.

I can voulge for despite our disagreements in the past you've never had a hateful attitude towards anything bro. On Aces comments about luther head being a pg...will never happen because he cant run the floor like a pg. He's going to be an off the bench SG, and whether you want to believe it or not ace, houston has been eyeballing marcus williams more then any team in this draft

Whether you like it or not Budd, we won't be getting a PG with our 1st round pick. It's gonna be either a two guard or a PF. Book it. Please don't try and think you know more about the Rockets then I do. I'm a fan so I should know.

No I got what you're saying but if the hype is true they would still take Williams over Aldridge.

So when they take a pg...will you apologize?
