I think it would suck to root for a team that you don't feel has any interest in winning - of course they should care if they win - why else would you buy a team? That's a rhetorical question but I still would have to believe those in charge truly want to win - otherwise why would I root for them - that would be awful - so yes I think they care if they win!!!!

They won back to back championships in 64-65 in AFL vs chargers. Yes, they count because profootballreference recognizes it. ( Makes me think this year or next the conference championship will be those teams and buffalo wins again)
They've obviously won 4 conference championships. 4 of their 21 playoffs losses were super bowls.

Oops.......or you simply mean the current Bills. What have they won? Been to playoffs 6 of 7 years and obviously won some of those games.

You don't care about winning if you don't for 50 years. Owners care about money. That's why they own things. Being a sports franchise owner give them status and pull etc..
Even the Bears , Detroit, etc., so called losing teams owners are still like royalty in America. Why would the Dolphins owner need to win? They've hosted 6 SBs in the Rock and 11 total. There has to be profit in that. They share profits. The owners don't care if the only jersey that sells is Brady's because they all get a piece of money pie.

I will throw in my opinion for what it's worth and say I won't dismiss the Bills beit blue chip or whatever until I see our team put the smackdown on them once and for all. It's not happened yet and now the Jests are suddenly making waves in the media play-off prediction stakes. Fins blew it going into the playoffs last season. I just want to get this big game chokers tag monkey off our backs. Bills are still there until I see different.
