Buffalo Weather this Sunday

37 is perfect for playing football. The cold would not impact your ability to handle the ball until it drops into the lower teens. The wind is what can impact the game the most.

there was no rain in the forecast a couple of hours ago (there was a 57% chance of light snow flurries though).

i expect the forecast to change many times between now and sunday afternoon.

i'm hoping for high 30s, no wind to speak of, and dry.

From the official NWS office in Buffalo...
Sunday
Rain and snow showers likely before noon, then rain showers likely between noon and 5pm, then a chance of rain and snow showers after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Who knows, maybe another reason for McDermott to rest his starters. Don't want Diggs slipping and sliding with his ankle issues

So, how do you think the cold weather will effect his injury? I live in MN and played sports all my youth and young adult life up here. I know how much hitting and getting hit hurts in the cold weather.

Never ceases to amaze me how people buy into the “cold weather games in the elements cause more injuries!” narrative. It’s like one announcer said it years ago and everybody just repeats it like sheep. It’s never been the case, and there’s no documented evidence to back it up. Use common sense, you can’t even plant your feet half the time, so right there you avoid most non-contact serious injuries.

Bad/cold weather games are only different in that it accentuates the importance of winning the turnover battle.
