Burnett is only trying to get what he can right now, but I doubt anybody will give it to him, especially before the next wave of cuts. Be patient young ones....

Plus, it is not only $250,000 in cap room we would be losing, it would be $550,000....and we all know that amout of money can land us another vet for the min!

14:16 PT: While the San Francisco 49ers haven't made a move to sign free agent WR Willie Jackson (Saints) so far, that doesn't mean he's off the radar according to ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli. The 49ers will have more salary cap room next month when they release some veteran players and Jackson could be on the priority list for them then.
