where will he coach next year? he said after being fired by the browns that he wanted to take a year off. after the LSU rumors, he stuck to his word and is probably fishing somewhere now. but there's likely to be some teams who want his services, and he's a GREAT college coach and an even better recruitor, so i wonder where he'll end up?
 
Nebraska job might open up. Purdue also.

Nope not Purdue. Tiller has made a bowl every year of his coaching career at Purdue but this one..why you ask?? because he went to that Meyer crappy spread offense.:shakeno: :shakeno: sickening.
 
No, too much talent in Texas. A great recruiter like Butch could have them rolling in 2-3 years.
 
What about Wisconsin? I know Alvarez is retiring, not sure if they have someone on staff they are replacing him w/ though

god i'd hate for bama to have to play butch davis every year being in the sec west because he's such a damn good recruiter. He'll have arkansas contending in 2 years if he took that job
 
Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I wanted to chime in on the situation

I'd love to have Butch Davis at Arkansas. Unfortunately, the media and Frank Broyles are on Houston Nutt's, uhhh, nuts so much that he'll be back next year. He's horrible...comparable to Wannstedt almost.
 
He needs to go to Kentucky. I'm tired of watching Kentucky only win 2 games a year with lack of talent. He is a pretty damn good college HC and I think that he can bring some wins to UK.
