Was the overtime format.

That will squash demand for a change for a half decade, minimum. Nothing but unrestrained offense then immediately decided by a defensive TD in overtime. It's the perfect reference point. Even though I was rooting for the Packers, I took great delight in that outcome.

Just imagine the horrors of goofs like Bob Costas and Jim Nantz, who have been lobbying for both teams to get a possession.

Even if both teams got a possesion, all Arizona would have had to do is kneel succesfully to win.

I'm not a big fan of the overtime myself but I understand why it is the way it is. But I do think that the visiting team should get the football first. No coin flip. I mean, you already have the advantage of home field and there's no real correlation between the winner of the coin flip and the winner of the game in overtime. If you can't win the game in regulation at home...

I was looking forward to this game all weekend and I ended up falling asleep with about 4 minutes left in the Ravens game. I only got to watch the final two minutes of regulation and OT of the Packers/Cardnials game.

That's not going to squash anything, the next time a team gets the ball goes down and scores the same outcry will happen.
