I was actually referring to the fact that some bloggers posted the idea that "some players didn't want to work with Beck because he was making them look bad". It appears that Kirkus was the only one actually doing any complaining. It was also states as fact that Kirkus is "very good friends with McCown" and that perhaps Kirkus was simply trying to make Beck look bad for McCown's sake. It was even suggested that Kirkus was missing routes or dropping balls on purpose to make Beck look bad. Is Kirkus that secure in his position that he would do something so rediculous? Who knows, but as rough a time as Beck has had, I can guarantee Beck wasn't doing anything to make Kirkus look bad. He has far too much at risk to do such a thing.
I had a hard time believing that a "group of players" would ever say they didn't want to work with Beck or any other QB for that matter, so at least from that standpoint, we know that wasn't true.
