I was starting to lean away from this move a little while a go.
He is handling this situation like a child. I'm all for drafting a WR. or 2.

Was listening to "The Herd" on ESPN on the radio today and I heard the Bengals already turned it down... and are adamant that he WON'T be traded.
 
I agree that his childish attitude has put me off him as a player. Its funny though... of all the teams in the league, i knew someone like Washington would make a ridiculous bid like that.
I'm amazed that Lewis is so stubborn that he wont trade Chad for a 1st even though he knows Chad wont play for him this year.
 
reports off the espn newswire is that the bengals declined that trade and are also telling teams like the eagles that Ocho Cinco is not on the trade block
 
Nobody isn't getting it because Cincinatti doesn't want to absorb a lethal cap hit.

In other news, glad to see the Skins' still have ZERO respect to the draft.
 
First of all it's a conditional pick for next year that could turn as high as a first rounder if Johnson reaches certain incentives. So it's really the 21st and a conditional 1-3. I wouldn't take that either.
 
Dang, Iwas hoping Cincy accepted. Now we have to wait for the maybe we should give 3 first rounders to Cincy thread.
 
what is cincy doing? why keep a guy who is trying to hurt you when you've done nothing but good to and for him? carson palmer and an offense totally built around you isn't enough? what is it that this guy wants? does anybody know?

My God. Why do people on this board STILL not get it? The Fins are a 1-15 team in a major rebuilding mode. The team's nucleus will be rebuilt through the draft. Because there currently IS NO NUCLEUS due to years of piss poor drafts and doing what all these threads suggest: TRADING DRAFT PICKS.

STOP with the trading of draft picks for disgruntled veterans of any kind threads. STOP the insanity, please.

It's NOT the cap hit....it wouldn't even be that bad.

They are just being stubborn and not letting Chad get his way. I'm glad they are doing so.....perhaps it will stop other little girls from trying to whine their way out of town.
 
he's just making noise. no one really knows what it's all about. He did say the coaching staff and organization as a whole has been disrespectful to him, but no one knows what was said.
