A lot of Crowder haters on the board. In a year he had a chance to stand out he really underimpressed, does that spell the end of his Dolphins career or do you think his young age and potential under a more competent defensive coordinator and scheme give him new life in Miami?

Stats wise he had 78 tackles in 10 games, 1/2 interceptions, no fumbles caused or recovered. Zach had 52 in 1/2 the games and a full sack!!

His rookie season seemed promising, the guy has regressed in my opinion. We certainly know he can't play middle linebacker, but he is not great at sacking the QB, so what value would he have as an OLB in a 3-4? I say none....BYE BYE!

dude he's young he came out of college if im not mistaken a year early as well so i think hes doing fine

He plays MLB in a 3-4. And there isn't much reason to waive him this season, might as well let him play out his contract at the very least. We can't replace everyone in one offseason.

I wouldnt say he had a chance to stand out this year; if your team plays like garbage around you, you're not going to be able to do it all by yourself. Plus, he lead the team in tackles. 78 isnt a pro bowl number of course, but its more than anyone else on our D got. He would have had more had he not missed the last few games. He's not a pro bowler, but he's a lot better than most of our other starters, and we should patch up the most glaring holes first.

I think he can option out if he wants to this year. I think this is his last year in his contract. If he chooses not to opt out, then might as well let him play one more year... see if he shows much promise for another contract.

The guy needs to start making plays instead of always waiting for the play to come to him.

Looking at this guy ,, there is NO way he opts out, he isn't good enough to garner much interest. Weak side middle backer may be his only position, he can tackle, 104 total in 06, second only to Zach. He doesn't know how to apply QB pressure with 1.5 career sacks, why would you put a guy like that outside? He is a huge dissapointment, he just looked like he would be better..much like the whole team over the last few years I guess.

He seems ok not pro-bowl level talent but he is far from our most glaring concern on this team. He just doesn't seem to have the knack for creating turnovers (ints or fumbles).

hes a solid player but stats or no stats he's another invisible miami dolphins lb in the shadow of JT and ZT. think: marlon greenwood and those other guys you probably forgot about.

He's on his last chance in 2008. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we cut him this off-season but I still don't expect it (unless we can upgrade.) He misses all kinds of assingments and as L2G said, he doesn't attack the football. His rookie year he was all over the place and since then, I haven't seen the same guy.

He is a moron for coming out after his sophomore season. Then again, he did say he doesn't know where England is and didn't think there were black people in London.

I do believe that he filed to leave GiK, if another team wants to put a claim on him that is, I haven't heard whether or not he has had a value placed on him.

Channing is a Saban guy, those folks do not seem to have taken a step forward...at all..Daniels, Roth, Crowder...like cold Ramen...just not improving.

Cold Ramen actually isn't that bad, so long as you don't try adding the packet of seasoning to it.
