He must be referring to his Madden team..I think Gus might have a bigger yellow cone to throw in...

lmao they're about the same actually, atleast default anyway. he went into edit player and gave gus 99 awareness, making his cone the size of manning and brady.

Yep, he has to show he can do this against a 1st team defense, but he has earned that shot, especially since Guis hasnt taken the reigns and run with it.

I think Gus took a step backwards tonight. You just can't put up numbers like that and keep your starting job. AJ has been playing well and has EARNED a chance to play with the 1st string. Let's see what he can do against the opponent's #1 D.

I want to thank you for your unbiased post! After 2 weeks of gus with all the first team work I think even you would agree that there is no timing with them and we have all seen enough!

I told you I wanted this best QB to start. In no way am I saying that that is AJ yet, but he has at least earned the opportunity to start against ATL

I just want the best QB. Right now I'm not convinced its Gus. We vshould have been up 21/28 - 3 but he overthrew people by a mile. What's worse, we had to watch all the bucs QB's put the deep ball right on the money.

Gus definitely didn't look very sharp to me. AJ looked more comfortable tonight than he has so far this pre-season. Hmm maybe he is feeling more comfortable w/ the system. That was the only reason Gus was beating him out anyways.

I think Saban will go back and review the game film of the last couple of games. He will come to the same conclusion as the rest of us, Gus is Jay.

I am not a Gusketeer but I dont think Feeley has been much better either....I say it is a tie and next week whoever does better with the 1st team, should start.

I guess its AJ time to start. And if he does good then he is the man. Or just say it now that he is the starter.

Agree with all. Gus may know the offense, but boy is he an inaccurate passer. How can you possibly overthrow a WR with Boston's speed on a wide open post pattern.
He also threw behind receivers the whole night. The first team offense could have easily scored 21 points in the first half if they had executed better. Granted Chambers did drop one of Frerotte's long passes inside the 5 yd line.
Feeley needs experience, but he certainly throws a better ball and has a quick release.

The competition is done, and we're just waiting for the results. Nobody who will start week 1 will see more than a series next week. That's just the way the preseason works.

What did Feeley do tonight to leave you unimpressed? Does he need to have a 90% completion percentage or a QB rating of 120?
