neone know what round Byrd from LSU is projected to go? the guy is clutch and after watchign some games today i just n otcied miami has ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOO WR's!!

Ive been saying for 2 years that I want Byrd in a dolphins uniform. (I'll take lafell too)

the kid is a beast. he is a SR now correct

Byrd is projected to go in the 2nd or 3rd round by NFL Draft Scout. However we all know things can change based on off-season performances.

I'll take Hakeem Nicks WR out of North Carolina who single handedly was Mr.Clutch against the U yesterday. Watched him make clutch catch after catch including that beautiful TD pass he caught late in the game. Also I like the Safety Trimaine Goddard as well HE WAS A TRUE PLAYMAKER on defense yesterday.

I wouldn't mind getting Byrd in the 3rd round after we address the defense heavily in the first 2 rounds. Any sooner than that, then I don't know.

Well we have 3 picks on the first day, I can't see us going defense on all three. Its possible, but we're not set at WR. Not even close.

I like Byrd....but I think Lafell has more upside...

The guy I think could come in and make an immediate impact is Derrick Williams of Penn St....I've been intrigued by this guy since he was a freshman...

The thing I love about Crabtree is he catches EVERYTHING with his hands....he never lets the ball get into his body....

But he hasn't shown that he can beat man coverage on a consistant basis....Texas Tech floods the zone with receivers...allowing Crabtree to get open much easier.

I think we go Rey or Selvie or Davis round 1. I am down for a Byrd at 2A cuz i doubt he lasts past it. reminds me of Bowe as far as moving up the draft boards. Then an ILB/OLB/CB depending on round 1s picks and hte other in round 3. we can cover all 4 in just 3 rounds and hopefully use the CB as extra depth b/c that means we r going to get Aso or gamble or Mcfad in FA :) or even Roy williams.

we will 100% go for a veteran WR in FA hoepfully wiliams (whose his agent btw? drew?) and another in the Draft.

I wouldn't mind drafting Demetrius Byrd. A local kid, who would probably jump at the chance to play for his hometown team.

The reciever that I really want (other than Crabtree obviously) is Juaquin Iglesias from Oklahoma.

I found some notes about Juanquin Iglesias on PFW.

2. Juaquin Iglesias, Oklahoma
6-0e, 205e, 4.5e
Is not strong or physical and can be knocked off routes at the line, but he has made an immediate impact from the time he arrived and has proven he could perform in the clutch. Better than a possession receiver yet not a game-breaker, Iglesias likely will fill a No. 3 slot WR role that is becoming more widely viewed as a starter position by NFL offenses that increasingly are spreading out the field. Lacks top-end speed but is smooth and fluid in his movement and quick into his routes. Adjusts very well to the ball and catches it with ease in stride. Will not bring a “wow” factor to an NFL offense but will be very consistent out of the gate and should be able to contribute as a punt returner.

If it has some interest?!
