Seems to be the only CB having some success out there during this 3 day mini camp.

We all know if Parker was blowing by him on every snap we wouldn't hear the end of it so I'll take this as positive news. Glad to see he is fitting in.

It's just refreshing to see a coach putting a player in position to play to their strengths. It seems like a common sense thing but it is certainly is new in Miami.

You're right! it seems like common sense...but that's something we haven't seen here in quite a long time!

If they can mask his deficiencies like Seattle did, imagine what they could do with a highly talented CB?

If he can get back to Seattle form, that alone would make the trade worth it.

We are betting heavily on players who were great before being shoehorned into the wrong sysyem. If Maxwell and Mario Williams return to form, that will be huge.

Hopefully he can become a solid (massively overpaid) no2 corner again

This is the last year of his guaranteed money if it doesn't work out then we just cut him and move on. The contract is a non issue. Especially when you consider how much we would have had to spend in free agency to get a corner of his talent level.

It is effectively a 1 year deal for him and Kiko, they are positives to the trade. If he balls out then you extend him to rework the deal.

I wonder if this trade has anything to do with Jones' demand to rework his contract. With Grimes gone, Jones is the alpha dog and only returning starter with any pro bowl recognition, so perhaps he feels he should be the highest paid player in the secondary.

Is his shoulder better than Jeff Bridges' character in Against All Odds?

He should like this defense since it plays to his strengths. I never understood why coaches forced players into their scheme instead of adapting to their players. I hope we draft players who fit into our "system" however it sounds like coach will adapt wherever needed.
