He has better size and speed than Lewis had coming out of college. It all depends on his instincts and his ability to stay healthy. BTW. Lewis wasn't so great his rookie season. In fact Zach Thomas (same draft, but 5th rounder) had a better rookie year.

It's funny how the "experts" keep saying that ZT, JT and SM are getting long in the tooth, but the same comments aren't made about Ray Lewis, or for that matter, Willie McGinest, Mike Vrabel, Tedy Bruschi. All of these guys have been in the league as long or longer than the aforementioned Dolphins.

I've watched him a lot as well. No argument that he is very talented, though I would say he is a bit undisciplined and will be caught out of position trying to make a big play where just making the play would be the right choice.

If he can learn to play in the system is a real question that not too many are asking.
