The basic fact of the matter in the whole Caddy-Hummer debate is this. Caddy leads the league in CARRIES. He is on pace to have about double to that of the hummer. Plus they are not using Pittman as much.
Hummer will have Ricky taking the load off in about three weeks. So while people may think Caddy is better, The fact of the matter is Caddy will soon need a tune up and Ronnies career barring injury will double that of Caddies. So for all you Ronnie doubters, be happy that you will see hime LONGER then you will see Eddie George, i mean Carnell Williams.

I was thinking the same thing on Sunday. I was on a trip through Wisconsin and heard the whole game on the radio then saw the highlights. All I could think of is how most rookies talk about the length of the season and how they lose steam in the end, but after seeing this one he's gonna be out of gas by the tenth game.

While he is carrying a large load right now......the smart money would be on Cadillac to have the longer career based off of both of their running styles. Cadillac is shiftier and has the ability to avoid the big contact......like Curtis Martin and Marshall Faulk. They just seem to make that subtle move to avoid the brunt of most hits.......

While Ronnie on the other hand seems to relish the contact.....he looks to be as violent of a runner as I've seen in a while. he runs ANGRY!! Do you guys notice how he seems pissed at anyone who tackles him...throwing arms and legs off of him. I love watching him, but I do worry that he is headed the direction of most power backs who don't have the long shelf life.

I hope 100% wrong....but it doesn't look like I am.

Why so much of this same stuff? Carnell will not end up with so many carries.

I said this in another thread...

Stop being foolish, Carnell won't end up with 460 carries. It's been only 3 games him carrying the ball a lot. He will get less touches. When the Bucs need to come from behind in a game do you think Cadillac will still get 25+ carries? Or when the Bucs have a game won early do you still think Cadillac will get 25+ carries? Wise up and stop with all that garbage.

I was telling my buddy the exact same thing. Your description is right on.

If you deliver the hits it's not as bad as taking them..know what I mean? How else would defenders last so long? It's one thing to take the hits, it's another to deliver them. I also think he doesn't have much of a choice right now..he has to run over people.
