Cadillac Williams is one of the best backs right now in the NFL but he got all these rushing yard because of the TB offense of line which is a good O- line.
I the dolphins O-line can make holes for him he will get more rushing yards then Cadillac
Please share opinion if u have one.

They have a Cadi.

We have a Corvette. :D

my opinion on this is

ronnie is a complete back that has the potential to have 2000+ all purpose yds every yr while also giving a big boost in blocking i think ronnie will be a more valubale and more dangerous player than caddy is...the stat sheet really does not show how valubale ronnie is to this team...i belive caddy is going to be a great running back ,but i belive ronnie will be the better player.

Cadilac is a great runningback straight from the start of his career and he will stay this way if he doesn't get any serious injuries well Ronnie Brown still needs to develope into the full player he can and Ronnie Brown as a complete player is better but thats just my opinion.

Too early to call. You have to question which team has a better O-Line (probably Tampa) who has played against better D's, etc. Then consider Ronnie's hold-out, etc, etc.

I wouldn't even want to try and discuss which guy is the better back until the end of this season, unless one of them just absolutely flops miserably; and it doens't look like that's going to happen.

No offense meant...But I'm growing tired of the comparisons already!

but cadillac also got 158 yds on 37 carries while Ronnie got 132 yds on 23 carries if you do the math youll realize that Ronnie had a lot more yards per carry

what about the other 2 games? why compare only 1?

Cadillac is excellent behind an excellent line. Brown is excellent behind an average line. Both teams got excellent backs out of the draft.

Cadillac is more of a ricky jamal type as where ronnie is more of a ladanian faulk brian westbrook back...does that make sense?

The Bucs are running Caddy into the ground. Caddy's averaging over 29 carries a game. Gruden says that he keeps running him because he knows the chances of a big run are better if he keeps on running him. And he has no plans to stop as long as Caddy shows he's not breaking down.

Gruden is being reckless here. You can't play wait and see. You've got to protect the kid. What happens when Caddy DOES show signs of wearing down?? He's going to hit that rookie wall, it's a given. Hell, he's already got a foot and shoulder injuries. And it's not like he doesn't have Alstott and Pittman to carry the ball.

Caddy is on pace for 469 carries. Jamal Anderson has the record with 410. And he blew out his knee the very next year.

Remember us talking about Wanny running Ricky ragged?? That was 383 and 392 carries, which is a 2-season record. And Caddy is much smaller than both of those guys.

Caddy, though 217 pounds, is on the small side. His legs are relatively skinny.
