We clearly need help in the front seven as everyone knows. There have been a lot of rumors connecting Ingram and Miami. The draft this year is full of very promising DEs for a 4-3 and free agency is full of DTs.

There are rumors coming out that Arizona will not be bringing Campbell back in Arizona and will test the market.Campbell is currently a 3-4 DE, but would be a great DT in a 4-3 (similar to a Tom Kelly type). He is stout against the run and can provide great interior pass rush (which is the best way to beat the Pats). Not to mention he went to the U, so wanting to come back to Miami could be in the works here.

Campbell is a proven player through out his career and while Ingram has been ok in his 5 years. I would rather pay Campbell over Ingram and draft a DE (or two). I also think Campbell will cost less given his age.

Campbell and Suh next too each other would be a nightmare for teams. Ingram at DE doesn't scare me much.

Thoughts?

There isn't one. Whole point is to choose which direction would be better and I used the top FAs to guide it.

So you want people to choose from two guys that are 3-4 personnel to play in our 4-3. Well we were 29th in defense last year...only so many more spots we can go down.

Just because they played 3-4 doesn't mean they cannot play 4-3 or can. Its a matter of projecting it the best you can.

I'm bored with putting round pegs in square holes. Hopefully the next batch of players under Gase will slot right in. No question marks about previous injuries, drug or alcohol problems. No question marks about college Vs pro systems. Let's just get players without question marks next to their name!

Don't think Ingram is a good fit for our team and as Campbell would be a good DT next to SUH I'm think that's not gonna be worth the amount we would have to pay

Bring Campbell in so one of the OL can take his knee out in TC.

Sign them both and convert to a base 3-4 defense, otherwise, forget it; they just don't fit.

We are fine at DT. We have the highest paid DT in the NFL, so I am not for spending anything more on it. If we cut Mitchel then sign cheaper replacement to be our #3 DT, but if Philllips and Suh are our starters at DT we are fine. We are not fine at LB, DE, and G. I would be ok with bringing in Ingram if he can play SAM in 4-3. Bringing in Cambell would just be stupid. Our defense couldn't overcome haveing a 40 million dollar cap hit at DT. What team has signed the most expensive guy in free agency and done anything? Its fools gold 99.9% of the time. The winning teams collect mid level guys, and make the most out of the draft.
