one the mocks on footballsfuture has us taking this guy in the first. now.....if carey succeeds, i guess it wouldnt hurt to get jt a protege. thoughts?
 
I'm more interested in what will happen this season than projecting what could happen in the 2008 draft. We may be drafting in the top ten or possibly the bottom third of the first round. So why worry about it now? I'd rather focus on what kind of team we can put on the field this fall.
 
This guy is sick...Him and the Hurricanes defense will be awesome.
 
Campbell is not a JT protege...he is a monster in the mold of julius peppers and a much more productive and polished mario williams. at 6'8" and nearly 300 pounds he can be a dominant force that takes over a game much like JT but not in the same mold

him being so tall and weighing at around 280 means that he doesn't have much fat on him, hes just solid muscle, hes quick, hes a punisher.
 
look. i know we still have to play this season first, but it is sooo slow right now. would this kid be worth taking first if we are in that position.
 
Absolutely this guy is as good as it will come next year....JT is getting up there so grabbing him would be a smart pick.
