...it seemed to me like the refs were trying like hell, on several occasions, to give Carolina more chances than they actually earned.

These Dolphins are for real boys. I was hesitant after the Brcos game, but now they beat the panthers...LET ME REPEAT THE PANTHERS, NFC super bowl favorites and the team that pounded the great (tehe) New England Patriots. If the Fins keep this up they will not be in a rebuilding season this year but a winning one. We are already halfway to last years total and tell you what if the Fins had executed last week we'd be 3-0 now. So two weeks now to prepare for the Bills (playoff contenders my foot) and get our 1st road win and silence all the doubters, and be 3-1 when the duo of Ricky-Ronnie begins. We are already guaranteed to be at least .500 at Ricky's return so AFC East get ready. ANd what i can't believe is that the Miami Dolphins won a offensive shootout today, What? and thank you Lance Schulters.

naaa, we made some pretty stupid defensive penalties

I agree some were stupid but on that last drive where they flagged daniels on the side line was no different a play when mcmichael was interf. with going down the middle in the third. That guy made contact and didnt turn his head. I would say the NFC superbowl favorites got an extra call or two.

The refs did make some horrible calls. Just because a guy didn't look for the ball, doesn't mean it's pass interference. Half the time our guys didn't even touch their WR.

the refs were fine. Miami's secondary was terrible.

Thank God SCHULTERS made 1 play for that unit. Won us the game.

That late call on Travis Daniels was exactly that. The ball was very high, Travis did'nt touch Colbert and still got a P.I. call...brutal.

I'm STILL waiting to see that Seau holding penalty on the J.T. sack play...

Yeah, holding my ***. JT got to Delhomme so fast on that play that Seau didn't have time to hold.

Agreed. On the Chambers TD catch the official spotted it at the 2 yd line, when at worst it should have been on the one foot line. Thank God for instant replay.

I also saw some phantom holding calls on the defense. With as much pressure as Delhomme was under I can't believe there weren't more holding calls against Carolina.
I think when you are coming off a 4-12 season you arent' going to get the benefit of the doubt on a lot of close calls.
I also thought that Frerotte's int. hit the ground and the call should have been overturned. Fortunately, it didn't affect the outcome of the game.

REgardless of what ones are deserved or not, the refs are going out of there way to call everything on us. In case you didnt notice, the flags were coming out faster than a whore flagging down a customer.
