If Ricky comes to terms with his new role and keeps producing we will not resign Ronnie. If the trifecta pays him and he is loving football we have a stud RB. Lex showed some real flashes and with experience he will be a great change of pace back. Why over pay for Ronnie he is never consistent. Henne is growing up and has looked good. He has a little bit of an accuracy problem sometimes but thank you Bess. Who said we need the Wildcat!!!! We may have witnessed the death of the Wildcat!!!!!!! Wake needs to be in more, he was consistantly in Delohomme's face - his encroachment penalty. Porter played good but got burned a few times. Vontae needs to work on stopping and tracking the ball. That was the same over pursuit and move that he did against Moss. We played good and man do they know how to make worry that the D will fold but all night they bended but didnt break. Our Oline is really nasty not allowing a sack and really injured but played through it. Our OL has really shaped up to be a nasty dominate BEASTS!!! Great game GO FINS!!!!!

We're only going to have Ricky this year and next year though, I think we need both of them here next year. You saw how D-Williams was tearing us up, but they still gave Stewart his carries. That is how it's supposed to work.

Calm down dude. It is ONE game. ONE. I don't think ricky wants to be a guy who gets 300 carries a year. The wildcat is here to stay as is the pistol and other motion-direct snap offensive packages.

Ricky had one hell of a game but to succeed in the NFL you need two very good backs IMO. Ronnie is having surgery this week and will be back next year. If the team allows RB to leave via free agency, they are a bunch of morons. He may not be a 1500 yard back BUT he is a 1200 yard back who can pretty much do it all. Very versatile. There isn't another back in the league I can think of that is the complete package that RB in terms of being able to run, throw, take direct snaps, etc.

Ricky is not the long term solution - he is a part of the whole. Unfortunately he isn't RW of 2002 ok people? Ronnie needs to be resigned - he is about 26 years old and has mileage left. Get him res-signed and draft a back next year to groom and start contributing fully in 2011.

We can develop Hillard and Sheets and draft one late Rb is the easiest position to fill

So you are saying Hilliard is going to be as good as RB? Step away from the keyboard man and think before posting. RB is in his prime. He is what 27 years old? You don't dump a guy in his prime especially someone as versatile as he and a key cog in our offense.

I do agree that Lex needs to get a fair showing the rest of the season to see what he has. However since ricky probably will be with us for 2-3 more years at BEST, we DO need to draft his replacement IMO.

With all the injuries we see in the NFL every year, it's nuts not to have a couple of really good running backs on your team. Ronnie will be back.

There's not enough room for Ricky, Hilliard, Cobbs & Brown. Spend the Brown money on a FA receiver.

5 Reasons Why Ronnie is not elite:

- Never has rushed over 1000 yards
- Does not explode through the hole
- Has never broken a long run no break away speed
- Always hurt 1 full season
- Does not have great vision
- Always doing unnecessary dancing or spin moves

Now what makes him elite???? Because he can run the Wildcat when your good you dont need that formation.
