Call me crazy (or desperate)...

I don't think it matters so much that it was against second string. Moore's passes were very accurate, at least to a point where they were impossible for the defenders to pick off. Henne is the exact opposite, he throws to the inside of the defender, increasing chances of a turnover. Watch the tape again. Moore's incompletions are either overthrows or to the outside of our receiver (away from the defender). On the contrary Henne's incompletions are either under thrown or the the inside of the route, increasing odds of turnovers. Perhaps Henne has the stronger ar and more big play ability, but to me Moore is the guy you want if you want to protect the football and limit mistakes.

The thing that scares me the most is that Sparano is all in with Henne-especially this year with no veteran competition. Their futures are tied together so jmho but its gonna take Moore playing lights out AND Henne laying an egg for them to make this a real QB competition. I'm glad to hear that many of you saw the same thing I did last night. I'm not buying that Moore only did well because he went against 2s and 3s. Remember he had a 2 and 3 OL and no Bush or Marshall. I saw a very confident QB last night, he can make all the throws, and he only has 11 practices under his belt. Even with the lockout Henne has been learning the offense the entire offseason. He still looks robotic and tentative and if it wasn't for that blown coverage td he would have had a horrific game. Mark my words- if Henne repeats that performance again in Miami its gonna get really, really ugly. Not sayin its right but fans are extremely angry and frustrated at this regime for not addressing the QB position in the draft or free agency. Fwiw seeing Mallett play so well the other night made me want to throw up--Again...

I said it last night and I'll say it again here. Matt Moore has spent less time in this offense, and he looks like the more compotent QB than the guy who's had the playbook the entire offseason.

Moore looked good. But too much has been invested in Henne. This is it for Henne (and thank goodness because I can't take anymore man love). If Henne steps up, he stays the starter. If he fails, Moore will likely get his chance to salvage the season. But don't look for Moore to get the starting job unless Henne gets injured or unless Henne starts falling apart in his game.

Henne has been falling appart ever since the doctor slapped him at birth...

He definitely looked better than henne. I would like to see him start one of these games

the question should be how bad does moore have to outplay henne to have a chance to start.

Moran-o appears to be married to Henne much the same way Dumbstedt was to Fielder.... the end result will be the same-

This is why it is important to have 4 preason games. we need time to look at both of them more before we that decision

We are ALL desperate, if we´re trying to make this chicken salad taste good with the AAA Grade Chicken SHHHH*** that we´ve got! I am hopefull that somebody with a football brain will get us a First Round QB next year, doesn´t matter what it takes...by the time Sparano and Co. realize how important this is, Jake Long will be wearing a yellow jacket!!
