What can Frerotte do more than how he managed the game today...Chambers and McMike(fumble) didn't help his case at all...He had some really nice throws today and made some good decisions. We happen to play the New England Patriots who has still one of the best defenses in the league. I wouldn't blame Frerotte at all for this game and instead blame the receivers(Chambers) who dropped too many balls. That TD to Chambers showed a lot about his character today when the ball was thrown to his feet.

By the way, any "sharp shooters" out there...Reggie Howard should never play football again.:shakeno:

he had a Denver type game , the guy played well but the Recivers weren't there, CC cannot catch Booker played well Welker played well Mc mike Ruined us with a fumble

He played solid today. Managed the game, made some crucial throws. He had a few bad ones, but recievers really hurt him dropping balls (CC!!!!)

I'd take the performance every game of the year.

Nah, you're right. Frerotte did play pretty good today. He had a SUPERB first half. He wasn't as good in the second half, but still played well. IMO, he threw the ball too much. If you throw it 47 times, you will eventually hit receivers.

He played great in the first half. Looked like a deer in headlights during critical moments in the second. Had too much to carry on his own shoulders during the fourth quarter.

He did have a pretty SOLID game. Too bad about the ability of our receivers to make some clutch catches today. I can't root against Gus. As much as I'd like to see what Sage can do, I know Gus probably still gives us our best chance to win. I like to see him succeed.

Agreed i was going to post the same thing but I saw you beat me too it.

Chambers dropped way to many balls today.

Damn right he was solid. He had 400 plus yards. He had me on the edge of my seat. Chambers was more the problem today with those drops. Time to break out the Juggs Gun. He had the tying TD in his mitts. You guys are gonne be awesome once you get with Saban's program. It takes a year or two to weed out all the guys who won't/can't buy in to the system.

God forbid you trade for Matt Schaub...

Good game today. See you in Dec.

No stones thrown from this direction. I'll throw the stone in the direction it should be thrown.

It's plain and simple. Chambers is an average NFL receiver and he is being overpaid.

Here is my problem with the whole, "It's all Frerotte's fault", attitude. 95% of Dolphins fans know what we have at QB, a veteran journeyman who can do no more but manage games. On the other, many fans fell we are all set at WR and TE. That's why it absolutely kills me more when these supposebly good skill players screw up and deosn't bether me quite as much when gus does. I'm sorry but a good pass that is dropped kills me 100000000000000000000000000000000000000 Times more than a bad throw to a wide open WR or TE.

Doesn't matter how well he played during the game, When all was said and done,
the game got put in gus's hands again in the final series and the result?

I dont see why anyone would call you names. Frerotte played a hell of a game. Sure New England is banged up, but you still have to show up to play. The drops werent his fault. He had a few bad plays, but every QB does.

He did what he had to do to win the game. No sacks again. We have the O-Line playing well, we have Ronnie playing well, but the WRs/TEs are inconsitent, and the defense folded.
Maybe we dont go O-Line in the draft/FA, we'd definitely need a QB and defensive help. Who knows

Let's not get too overboard about what Gus is. He hasn't played well since the beginning of the season. He came out today and played great in the first half. In the second half, he threw the ball too much. The offense abandoned the running game and it allowed the Patriots to score 17 points. They only scored 6 in the first half when Miami was running the ball. It's not all Gus' fault. I don't think anyone is saying he single-handedly lost the game this week.

Dam right, CC shouldnt whine about being called decent, he should jump for joy.

he played good today. but still overall on the season. hes been bad. his perfromance means nothing to me if we dont win. he could have 500 passing yds. if you dont win. wat does it mean.
