We all know that Gus has been bad, but I didn't fully appreciate how bad he's been until I saw the following stats:

3rd Down Passing

35-86, 40.7 comp%, 422 yds, 4.9 yards per attempt, 2 TDs, 3 INTs

QB Rating on 3rd down: 49.7.

Passes Thrown More than 10 Yards Downfield

26-91, 28.5 comp%, 679 yards, 5 TD, 5 INT

Passes thrown More than 20 Yards Downfield

7-39, 17.9 comp%, 283 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT

28.5% completion on passes more than 10 yards downfield? 17.9% completion on passes more than 20 yards downfield? That's ridiculous!!!

What is even more ridiculous is that for some reason people are surprised when he doesn't convert 3rd downs.

Whats really ridiculous is we traded off a younger career backup for a older one.

Even more riduculous is me thinking we can win any of these games!!

Actually, Feeley's cap number was bigger and he was under contract longer then Gus. It was better to get Feeley off the books now, so we can use his money on some actually talented players.
