This wasn't really optimism... Actually, its more of pessimism. I know we have no shot of the playoffs, but this team is fully capable of killing our draft ranking by winning a few games.
 
Come on man.. Show a little optimism.. This team will not let you down this week. They didnt let me down against the Browns and they wont let me down against SD. Changes are coming in 2012

This "team" will win 4 games. If 2 are against Jets and we draft Luck, I will consider it a success!
 
This is not the same mediocre team that can win on the road we have seen over the last few years. The mental state of this team is gone. They lack intensity, focus and confidence. They no longer believe in Sparano and know it is just a matter of time until he is gone.

On top of that, JTs words about some guys not taking it seriously ring loud and clear. I am going to put Sean Smith at the top of that list. His comments he made last week and again after the game Sunday about the team not playing well came across as no big deal to him. Maturity has been his issue and if so, this guy needs to go.

Any team starting Colombo at RT and Jason Taylor as a 3rd down pass rush specialist is not winning 5 games in a row.
 
well it would be nice, cause if we win the next 2 , we are in the thick of it, win the next 5, that I would take in a heartbeat!!!
 
5 game winning streak after this? Jesus man, I don't know who's more confused - Sparano or parts of the fanbase. It ain't gonna happen. This idea will end after San Diego beats us by 21.

You mean 100x "more" likely. What you're saying now is that a 5 game win streak and 5 a game losing streak are equally, or 'as' likely.
