A question that we need to debate on, should our team trade the following players and what should we get in return.

1 Jason Taylor - He still has gas in his tank. Late first rounder.
2 Zack Thomas - Still very good he might miss a game or two. late second rounder.
3 Rickey Williams - what can I say about Slick Rick, you know the deal. Depends on who the trade partner is mid third rounder.
4 Daunte C. - We should not give up on Pepper just yet but when we must. Late third.
5 Chris Chambers - What can I say rollercoaster. Late third.

This is not something I want to see happen, just something to talk about before the draft.:bdh:

well..... let me see here......

#1 ABSOLUTLY NOT!!!!! You build around players like this.

#2 ABSOLUTLY NOT!!!!! Heart and Soul. Retire a Fin. Plain & Simple.

#3 ABSOLUTLY NOT!!!!! No value what so ever. We need a back up, and he plays for nadda.

#4 ABSOLUTLY NOT!!!!! Give him one more chance. I need more than 4 games to determine his future with us.

#5 ABSOLUTLY WILL THINK ABOUT IT!!!!! Last year Chambers. Show me something for once.

so you are saying welker (2 and 7) is better than chambers (late 3).or we just got a really good deal with the pats.

1. The day that happens is the day JT punches Wayne in the face. Franchise players like that are invaluable. You can't put a price on that.
2. See above.
3. Probably 4th to 6th depending on his reinstatement.
4. Any pick teams would be willing to give up would have worth. No team is even willing would trade for him. That's how low Culpepper's value is.
5. Probably a 4th or 5th.

I think you got most of them wrong mate, I doubt we get any of the value you mention for the first three. We might get a late third for C-Pep, and I actually think we could get a late first for Chambers.

The only guy that will be on the team in 3 years is Chambers. So why not unload them now to contender, and give them a shot at a ring. God knows they won't get one here in Miami. The front office let them down up to this point. LET THEM GO, AND BUILD A YOUNG TEAM WHO'S BEST YEARS ARE AHEAD OF THEM. You'll find new players to endear. It is a business after all.

Zach & Jason are pretty much irreplaceable, Ricky is probably untradeable. Chris is the closest thing they have to a #1 WR (with experience) right now.
As for DC, if he doesn't fit Cam's offense, I hope they can get decent value for him.

The day ZT and JT are traded is the day I become a Jets fan. They played their ***** off every game, even when they knew we had no shot at the playoffs.

Wow fellas dont take this so hard its all good, lets just have a little conversation about this.
If anyone one pay attenion to the news you would have heard that JT has been poundering retirement over the last couple of seasons, so my thinking there is not totally out of question.
Zack is my boy allways loved him and I allways will, give him a chance to win somewhere else because at the moment it doesnt seem we are superbowl bound, so trade him to a contender like Chicago.
With Daunte read what I said, we should not give up so fast but if it must then thats what I would try to get in return.
With Chris he is in my opinion better as Wes but who would give up a second rounder for him, Wes could play different positions thats what made him so valuable to the Pats.
Rickey He is one step away from being banned forever and you dont want that hanging over your head year in and year out now do you?
Take a deep breath, its not like any of this is going to happen, its just talk.
How many of you would put your feelings for individual players over the improvements of the entire team?

If I were calling the shots Culpepper would be outta here already, and I would probably go aead and trade Ricky too. I like the guy (he was a Lnghorn, what's not to like ) but he has screwed us twice now and I just don't want to deal with it anymore.

Taylor and Thomas would be retiring as Dolphins (not this year, lol, just eventually)

Chambers would stay, because he is a Pro-Bowl WR stuff in a HORRIBLE QB mess. We have seen that when he gets in rhythm with a guy he shines (and makes the Pro Bowl). The problem has been the QB musical chairs we play, so he never has a chance to get comfortable. I don't think he's a GREAT WR yet, because great WRs can adjust to any QB coming off the bench and still make the plays, and Chambers always takes awhile to adjust, but he is a GOOD WR. I think if we bring in a young guy (Quinn hopefully) and they both make an effort and put in EXTRA work with each other, it could be something great.

IDK if we would fetch a 3rd for Culpepper. We gave a second last year and he was ABYSMALL and is still unjured, so I don't see getting a first day pick for him (unless the GM is an idiot).

I have no clue how to judge what we may get for Ricky. Talent-wise, in his prime he was a 1st (although IDK about 5th overall like he was picked by NO), whn he left us I'd say a 3rd. However, with the 2 BIG drug suspensions, and all these new, stricter rules for law-breaking, I'm not sure we could fetch more than a late-rounder for him given his character history.
