I'm shocked that he had such a decline. Hopefully it was a sophomore slump. It could also be the fact that outside of Kader our corners are hot overpaid garbage and he's being asked to play more man than last year.

I mean last year Rowe was playing clutch vs TEs, Brandon Jones was blitzing, X was having an All-Pro season and Byron Jones was locking guys down. Our secondary has been absolutely destroyed by injuries this year. It makes sense Holland can’t play FS with the freedom he did last season. I’d also point out, prior to all the injuries he was playing fine at the start of the season. Even had an important combo INT with Howard vs NE week 2. Any time your FS leads the team in solo tackles (76) and has 93 total tackles, your secondary is having issues.

Yeah all that may be true but my point is that in this game I think he needs to throw that caution somewhat to the wind and go for the pic and the big hit. He’s been pretty darn near invisible it’s far as I’m concerned this year… And worse than that he’s been real late in a lot of the situations - let’s go Jevon!

He hasn’t been holding back. He’s had to be the deep safety because our secondary is a MASH unit.

Yeah he hasn’t been holding back at all. They are asking him to be literally everywhere on every play.

Holland will be back with a vengeance next year. He will benefit from a change of defensive coordinator.

IDK why people can't see this, a bunch of injuries and players get placed out of position doing things they don't really excel at. When My job has a lot of callouts in one department and I get switched over there to help, well of course my productivity isn't' going to be the same lol My boss has that problem seeing that too.

yes James.....I said there are some legit reasons for him not having as good a season.....I didn’t say he sucks......I said he's not having as good a year as he did as a rookie.

Go back to the game last Sunday when there are those four people around the Jets receiver and he ran through all the tackles…Holland was the one who broke down and let him get the extra yardage. Terrible angle and terrible tackle attempt… I’m putting it on him… Have the game of your life Jevon! Like I said previously freelance if you have to let’s get some impact plays and maybe a pick!
