We could still get Brady Quinn! Think about this...who in the first round either needs a QB or has the luxury of being able to pass up on a team need to grab a QB? I think Cam and Mueller looked at who was on the board and realized they'd get another shot at Quinn, so they took a player they knew they had no shot of getting later.

So everyone just step away from the ledge, take a second to breathe, and let's see how the rest of this round pans out. Keep your heads up.

It could happen, but thats a lot to ask, even if he falls out of the 1st round, he would have to get by the lions and the Bucs again....

Or maybe they have faith that DC can make it back.
 
No way in hell...That can't be the thinking. If they liked Quinn why wouldn't they do the opposite and get Quinn first and then get Ginn later. Ginn was a reach! Everyone is surprised! He would still be on the board...
 
I could only see Sanfran taking Ginn that early. Ginn would have fallen. I also think if we were going to take the chance of Quinn falling we could have traded our pick.

Ginn does fill a need but his lingering foot injury bothers me.

I'm disappointed because we could have landed quinn and drafted a much more polished receiver with the second round pick in Meachem, Bowe, or Jarrett.
 
New to post.... Here's my theory, K.C. is very high on Ted Ginn. KC will swap picks with the phins and give us Green and Quinn in return. Let me know what you think.

I like your optimism, and I thought of this scenario myself, but I don't see them trading up to get a guy who already fell nicely into their lap.
 
I'm with you brother.. I really wanted Quinn too and was stunned like everyone else but if you look at the speed and skill this guy has, how can you pass that up? He's a playmaker...period!! I want Quinn but I LOVE the pick.
 
Pray for Drew Stanton.

Brady Quinn wont be around much longer, any number of teams can and will pick him to throw in as backup and "learn the system" hes a franchise QB!

Didn't we learn enough already about drafting players with injury problems?

Dude, give it up already.. It's pretty damn obvious Miami doesn't think too much of Quinn.. All the people who said they were scouting Quinn for 2 years were delusional - Like I have been saying for a month.. That's because EVERY TOP prospect is scouted since teams have a ton of scouts..

Again, wake up . And after you do so, give it up on Quinn.. He's not Miami's guy , he never was .

If Quinn does fall that far, and your are right, The Fins would look like Gods among men. I only hope you are right. Ginn would not have made it to 23....but will Quinn? I can only hope at this point.
 
and we also have booker to trade sooo look for that to be in the works to trade into a late spot in the first round
