Let's face it, Daunte is the qb for the near future barring another injury, so we must surround him with the keys to succeed much like he had with Moss in Minnesota. Say what you will about the o-line, and chambers this season but with Calvin at wideout the dolphins could be one of the most potent passing attacks in the league next season with chambers and johnson and then mcmike and using ronnie more out of the back field. Anyone that saw this guy play in college knows he was unstoppable. He got double-teamed every single play and still put up sick numbers all year long.

Calvin's this years Reggie Bush in that he's gonna step in and be a top WR in the league. Most mock drafts have him in the top 4 so in order to even have a shot at him we would need to trade up. My suggestion would be this years 1st round and a 3rd and Wes Welker or another late round pick this year or next.

Ok, I don't mean to be a dick but this isn't Madden and to trade up 5 spots like your talking about especially in the top ten you will need at least next years first round pick! I am sold on him and would love Calvin Johnson to be on this team but we would have to risk to much to get him and we have wholes to fill!

He is great, but that wouldn't be enough. The top couple spots would want our 1st 2nd and at least next years 1st. Its too much to give up.

If only we could be so lucky to get him at #9. But then again were the phins, luck isnt on our side. It will never happen, he's rated way too high for #9, and would cost way too much to trade up for him.

The guy is amazing but lets not forget that Ted Gin JR is great and we wont have to give up our 2nd for him.

This team needs some youth.. We need that 2nd for Jon Beason Whoo WHOO! hahah

Considering Ginn said he will play cornerback, that doesnt sound like a true amazing superstar at Wide Receiver

Ginn, Jr is a great return man but is atleast 2-3 years away from being a very good wr.

no. to move 4 spots u dont need another 1st rounder. remember when the chargers traded their spot to atlanta when atl got vick? what did they give up? def. not a first round pick.

beason or possibly jarvis moss...i'd be happy with that. we might even go defense first and have a shot at sidney rice in the 2nd.

when did he say that ? link ? ... i highly doubt hes a CB in nfl

he said he would like to play some corner in the nfl. it didnt mean anything though, hes still going to be a reciever and will probably never take the field as a corner.

and on the note of trading up to draft calvin... i would give up this and next years first rounders to move up and grab him. i would give anymore tho, i mean calvin johsnon is worth 2 first rounders especially if one is a bust like say jamar fletcher, and i expect us to have a much later pick next year.

It was in an interview I saw on ESPNews.

He said he'd like to be a player like Troy Brown, who is a utility man. Go from wide receiver, to corner, to returning punts.

He's trying to get his draft stock up, me thinks.

Miami should really consider trading next years first round pick to a team like the Giants, someone around the 20s.. we could really use the pick..

For us to move into the Top 4, based on the draft value chart, we would have to give up more than that. Unless you think someone would value Welker as an additional 2nd round pick. I don't think his value is that great and I don't see anyone doing this trade.

When the Falcons moved up from #5 to #1 they gave up a 2nd and a 3rd. More recently, the New York Giants essentially moved up from #4 to #1 to get Eli Manning and had to give up a 1st, 3rd, and 5th to do so. So you are completely wrong.
