I may be reaching a little bit, to say the least, but what do you guys think of the phins drafting Calvin Johnson out of Georgia Tech. He is a big WR at 6'5'' with great hands and nice speed. I honestly can't see why we shouldn't draft him, the main obstacle of course someone drafts him before we get an opportunity. I don't buy into the whole we need to draft a QB.

i dont think he will fall to us. But, if he did I'd take him.
 
It seems pretty unlikely that Johnson will escape from the top 5, let alone drop to the 9th pick so Miami could get him.

i doubt we have a shot at him unless we trade up, but we need all our picks, so i dont see it happening.

btw, whats up with your sig, there's no way you can be a fin fan, with that BS:wink:

If he falls to 9, I'll personally send Nick Saban a hearty thank you letter for 2 wonderful years!!

I am a die hard phin fan...I am just truthful. But thanks for noticing, I haven't had anyone comment on it. I just think Favre has more heart than Marino, and more of a desire to win. Sorry. Just my opinion
 
ive got to be kidding me. favre can not touch marino. marino could have held one for 3 more years to pad his stats to but he did not. he left with some left in the tank unlike favre who is holding on for dear life
 
It would be great but we have a better chance of draftin Brady Quinn, Brohm, or Russel than we do CJ.
