Calvin Pace on his Dolphins-Jets visits: Wow

What a joke. They probably did the same with Faneca as well.

I guess we know why only Baltimore cast offs have signed with the Jets this offseason

Funny how that "karma" thing works! Seems like a LOT of these "leaving to go play with a contender" people got burned the last couple years.
:chuckle:

I could think of several million reasons I'd feel special and stroked in the NFL.

Cardinals got a whole lot better this past year without him, some time subtraction to a roster goes a long way in the NFL. Cowboys feel this way and that's why they cut Owens.

I wonder if he felt the same entitlement and stroking as Philip Merling was running into the end zone to wrap up the AFC East Championship and heading to the playoffs and he was heading home. Hmmmmm, he leaves Arizona for the big $$ and big stroking and they go to the super bowl, he signs with the Jets instead of the Dolphins and well, you know. Interesting.

wow so Woody and Tanny did everything short of "pleasuring" pace in order to land him...

wouldnt surprise me if they did though, who the hell wants to play in JERSEY, i understand NYC, but Jersey?

LMAO, this guy doesn't like competition? then what the **** is he doing playing football, it's all about that, teammates pushing each other to get better on weekdays and the best 22 go all out on another team on sundays

There was a story around mid-season about how 'impressed' he was with their work out routine. I think it was yoga based or something like that.

I'll bet he wasn't too eager to have to deal with the Tuna's dead-lift & power squating regimen...:D

Thank god we didn't make him feel important. He was a huge disappointment this season. Glad he passed on Miami.

I didn't think he played too badly for NY but I am really glad we didn't break the bank on him last offseason.

Not getting Calvin Pace, I think led to us keeping Joey Porter, and we all know how that turned out, so thank you Mr. Pace.
