The Dolphins have decided on Chargers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron as their next coach, but still need to work out the contract details.

The Miami Herald reports that details are being worked out Friday while Cameron visits with the team again. Known for his efficient offenses in San Diego, Cameron's hire would be great news for Ronnie Brown. He knows how to use versatile running backs.

If True, then good job Wayne. Earlier in the week I was upset about Schotty pulling out and then angry at Mora and Gailey being our leading canidates. But Thank you Patriots for eliminating Chargers and giving us Cam. And I know Cam had some questionable play calling in that 4th quarter against the Pats, he is the best on the market and I'm happy with this hire.

Sweet, thanks for the link!

Now we have to hope Cam's wife wants to live in South Florida, I hope so, but if not then we don't want him so we can have HIS wife move him away because she doesn't like it.

Maybe we FinHeaven fanatics can help keep the next coach here longer by researching what area would be the most suited to the next HC's family needs, then offering to give him guidance on where to buy his home. Then we could send our prettiest member, or prettiest member's wife, by with a "welcome wagon" basket of goodies and make sure the next HC wife makes lots of friend. Anything we can do to keep her happy so hubby will stick around!

Sounds good, I'm glad we have a head coach and I'm excited to see what kind of offense we can get going down here in Miami. Hopefully he's going to be a good head coach and get somebody in here that he wants to run the offense. From the looks of things we are going to be better off next year.
