He's not a thug. Thugs mug people. Cam Newton stole a laptop. That's like, borderline white collar crime right there.

Newton didn't flop - his heel got clipped accidentally as he went out of bounds (may have even been Ellerbe), and down he went. The reason he was laughing was because he knew it wasn't roughing, it was an accident. The refs blew the call, but what can you do?

And btw, I don't care for Newton's showmanship much, but man is that guy tough to bring down. He's a real problem for defences, even good ones like ours.
 
I have never said he isn't a quality player, but he's an arrogant piece. I've never heard anyone pat themselves on the back as much a newton. His superman crap is almost as bad as Dwight Howard giving himself his own nickname
 
Just thought I’d let you know. Listening to the sports animal this morning and a guy who was at the game said Cam came out of the stadium after the game… well after everybody else was gone because he’s always the last one to leave, while it was raining… and signed autographs for people. Just walked out by himself, no cameras, no reporters, just mono e mono. Say what you want but this guy is pretty damn down to earth if you ask me. And this is not the first example of him doing things like this for the fans…
Oh, and how would you like that your qb, while in the opponents stadiums, finds the lone fan in the stands (within reach of course) and gives him/her the ball after he sscores a td… I know you would like that if it was Tanne doing that for us. Just saying
 
Newton is a jackass. He always has been, and always will be. The signaling first down every time, even when his team is down, and the game is out of reach, doing superman in the end zone when the other team is up by 40, etc.. are all symptoms of his immaturity and idiocy. Frankly, even if he threw like Rodgers, ran like Vick, and was made of Titanium, and never got injured, I'd still not want him on my team.

You might be surprised that Tannehill's numbers were actually much better than Cam's yesterday. They were also better than Andrew Luck's. But he isn't a sexy player and will never become a media darling. Newton's Superman shtick is pretty childish but the media seem to love it as a natural expression of his humor and talent.
 
Give me Tannehill with his class and determination every time.

He outplayed scam totally yesterday and deserved a better fate on the scoreboard.

We stand a chance to do something in the future with Tannehill and WITHOUT ireland.
 
Newton made plays in the second half when it mattered. He made a play on 4th down and led his team.
