Will Cam take our team to the playoffs next season? What's your view?
 
No. But he will be a part of it. Just like Mueller making good personnel moves will be a part of it.
 
We will have to wait and see what happens during free agency and the draft to answer that question but the way they are structuring the coaching staff and front office I think they are heading in the right direction.

I understand that it is way too early to post such a question- I just wanted to get initial feelings on the matter.

That really doesn't make any sense. Are you suggesting that Harrington or Lemon will lead us to the playoffs? If we draft a rookie, he's not playing next year and there are no QBs on the market like Daunte. He's our QB man, when is everyone going to realize that?

Of course I think the Fins will go to the playoffs next year. After the Super Bowl everyone is undefeated and I think there are 25 teams each year that have a shot. If Cam finds a way to use Chambers the way Linehan did, Ronnie continues his progress, Daunte returns to full health and our defense plays like they did this year, than yes, we are going to be in the post season.

I just so happen to think that all 4 of those will happen, so there's my answer.

No you didn't. You wanted a JIm Mora Sr sound wave. But I won' give it to yah cuz we are going to the playoffs. If anyone can get us there, Cam Cam. :chuckle:

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to say here, but if it's what I think it is, the answer is the 2006 draft. (We already gave them that pick.)
 
im hoping that we will finally be able to get over the hump and make the playoffs for the first time in 5 years, im excited to see what kind of game cam brings to the fins and the kind of aura that will suround our team and how competitive we play.......anything is possible we saw the saints a 3-13 team the year before make it one game away from the superbowl not to mention some other noteable turnarounds like the jets, a new day has come in the nfl where you can be miserable one year and the next year on top of the league. as fans we deserve to see our team in the playoffs, we need to end this drought and make this a winning franchise again
