Cam Wake for Ryan Mallett? Would you do it?

I heard a trade idea in another forum....Cameron Wake to the Patriots for Ryan Mallett....IF we are not able to sign Manning or Matt Flynn.

It wouldn't cost either team any money or draft picks. I didn't propose this trade so don't flame me....just wanted to throw it out there. Thoughts?

I wouldn't. Wake is a proven commodity while Mallett is still unknown. I'd be more comfortable with Tannehill at 8 or drafting a guy like Weeden in the second or third round

Hell no. i like Mallet as a prospect but wake is worth at least a 2nd. Trade for Mallet would be nice but why would NE help us when they can groom him

I don't think you trade away your best defender for a guy that fell to the 3rd round last year. There must have been a reason we didn't consider taking him in the 1st or 2nd.

I'd rather draft Tannehill if we missed out on Flynn/Manning. Wake is proven and is our only pass rusher, no way you give him away for an unkown.
