Cam Wake for Ryan Mallett? Would you do it?

I will be honest......

I would definitely trade for Ryan Mallett but not for Wake. I don't know what would be a realistic deal for us to get him but it wouldn't and shouldn't be an arm and a leg.
 
Ireland gave up a handful of picks to move up into the 2nd round and reach for DT ahead of Mallett, after also passing on Mallett in the 1st. Why does anyone think Ireland is going to trade for him now?
 
Would I consider it? Sure. You have to think you wouldn't trade them straight up, Wake is a known quantity while Mallett is not. But if it's Wake for Mallett and Chung, then sure.
 
I'd take Mallett over Matt Leinart, who just got cut.
 
No. Mallet lacks the intelligence to play QB, and you don't trade for someone you passed up, especially after he hasn't done a damn thing. Why the hell would you do that?
