Said he knew Adam Gase was all about winning from day one.

Said he's been here 8 years and never had a winning record.

Said they are together as a team....focusing only on the current week...and each man focusing on doing his job 110%.

Trade him for a 4th round pick....ah no.

The assertion that we should have traded him is idiotic.

Do we have big needs going forward? Yes, but this is a win now league, and we are trying to make a playoff run this year. He's worth sooo much more to us on the team now than a mid round pick is to us next year.

Miami needs to stop letting its stars leave. Sometimes it is better to keep your aging stars and let them retire as your a member of your team. Cam Wake has been a Dolphin all of his relevant career... he is a Miami Dolphins lifer and deserves to go out as one. I don't want him playing for any other team ever.

He's been outstanding and he's part of the heart of this team only the truely trollific would consider trading him.

On field performance aside, he's a guy you want in the locker room when you're turning a culture around.

Hindsight is 20/20. When we were 1-4 and Wake was playing less than half of snaps it seemed like an idea we should at least consider. Obviously I'm glad we didn't, but if we were 4-7 right now out tune might have been different.

Yes...but. but there were some who suggested at the trade deadline....in the middle of this win streak....that we dump this great Dolphin for a 4th rounder.

I'm not convinced Belichek trading Collins won't hurt their chances this year...it just might(focus on "might" trolls)....cost him the AFC east.

True, but I think for most that would have been an act of mercy, to see him get a chance at a winner. Either way, glad things turned around!
