Bills fan back here again. Looks like both of our teams had a rough week. I wasn't able to catch your game yesterday but I'm writing to see how Cameron Wake is progressing? I expected big things out of him and wanted to get your 3 game report card on the lad.

He was active yesterday for the first time and contributed 1 special teams tackle. He will get more opportunities next week due to porter's injury.

Well if we had a grading system I guess we give him an I

Incomplete. He made the team though and thats more than most guys from the CFL can do.

True say. That said, he was far and away the most dominant DE in the CFL for the past couple of years. I fully expect him to make an impact - hopefully not next week though lol

Supposedly Sparano held Porter out as a precaution. I know you don't want guys to be hurt for extended periods of time, but with the impact that Porter was having in the game we needed to keep him in

Well I dont expect much of an impact. I expect just another Charlie Anderson type. I mean for all that domination he was sittin inactive behind friggin Erik Walden and Charlie Anderson who are pretty fringe NFL players. I think he can be a at best a solid situational NFL player but I dont see him as anything special in the NFL. I hope u are right and Im wrong though

:S So I bet he'll be playing next week. Port vs Bell not looking like a good match-up for the Bills!

being dominant in the cfl is equivilant to being dominant in the Wlaf.

For the most part, you're right. However, there have been some success stories - Flutie and Garcia are the two that stand out. Guys like Mike Sellers and Stefan Logan are current success stories as well.

From what i saw from Cam Wake in the preseason was a guy that could do only one thing and that is speed rush the passer.
never saw him against the run and never dropped back to cover a reciever.
he had good heart and looked like a poormans marco coleman

Flutie was always good enough to play in the NFL, its just that he got more money in Canada. Garcia is a genuine CFL success story during the newer CFL era where they are obviously a minor league. Sellars is a very good ex cfl player

Yeah, he's a little bit of a one-trick pony. Unfortunately, it's looking like Aaron Maybin could be the same, thus far at least :S

Not a bad comparison.
